Fireboard

FireSpec Systems has developed a completely revolutionaryfireproof board. Our Fireboard can be utilised as a 2 hour fire rated ceiling or partition material as a cost effective alternative to the traditional method using gysum board. It can also be used as a fire curtain for the boxing of steel or any application which calls for compartmentalisation. The board can be ordered in a range of sizes, thickness and finishes to suit any requirement. A sample of our FIREBOARD CS^TM, a passive fire control board, was tested successfully at the SABS against standard SANS 10177:Part-1981 on 14 December 2006.

FireSpec Fireboard is a favourite with architects, quantity surveyors, ceiling and partition contractors and building contractors as a quick, simple and cost effective solution to a range of fire stopping problems. FireSpec offers both supply only and supply and fix option for this product. We can also be called upon to certify an installation, if required.
