Vermiculite

FireSPEC is an approved installer for Mandoval Vermiculite. This fire resistant coating provides fire protection for structural steel, LPG and cable protection. Vermiculite is a fire retardant plaster, ideally suited for use in the chemical or petrochemical industry. Typical fire stopping applications would be to structural steel, LPG vessels, vessel skirts or any panel that requires fire protection.

As approved vermiculite applicators, we can provide an excellent fire resistant coating which is asbestos free. Vermiculite also has a high alkalinity content, which reduces the risk of corrosion.
